An encounter between a kitsune who runs an udon stall and a man who sells tofu. When the man compliments the deliciousness of the udon, the stall owner is so ecstatic that the tail he was hiding pops out in "The Kitsune's Udon." Additionally, there are four other illustrated tales with tengu, dragons and the likeーtales of relationships between ayakashi and humans.
