Summary
Iris is a duke's daughter who has always accepted that she will eventually become queen for the sake of her country's stability.She was originally supposed to marry Lias, the First Prince and her childhood friend.But when Lias becomes involved with the princess of a neighboring kingdom, the succession changes completely. Valdol, the Second Prince, ascends to the throne and unexpectedly becomes Iris's husband.Their marriage is not based on love.On their first night together, Valdol coldly tells Iris that he hates her and will never love her.Iris decides to accept that she will never receive his love and intends to fulfill her duties as queen anyway.Yet Valdol's behavior doesn't match his words.
