Summary
Ashley, the Emperor’s seventh son, is an unfortunate young man born with unsettling “abnormalities”, dragon’s eyes and white, inhuman arms.
His strict older brother trains him in swordsmanship and urges him to make it as a soldier, but Ashley’s talents lean far less toward the sword and far more toward the handling of a shovel.
One day, while excavating, Ashley digs up the Evil Dragon Jirant. The dragon transforms into a girl with the same dragon’s eyes as his and gives him a single book.
