Summary

After waking up from sleep, Ji Que finds himself in a bizarre, god-haunted world where immortal mountains have collapsed, temples lie in ruins, monsters wear human skins, and wild gods feast on marrow. At the same time, he gains a unique ability: insight can be accumulated and spent like money—the more he saves up, the more miraculous the revelations he can unlock. Dragged into a series of grotesque and surreal events, Ji Que encounters a White-Bone Bodhisattva who spews lotus flowers to “purify” all things, and later Laojun, who refines hearts and concocts pills.
