Set ten years after the events of Gundam F91, the tale revolves around Seabook Arno and Cecily Fairchild who uncover Crux Dogatie's scheme to invade Earth with the Jupiter Empire. In response, Cecily restores Crossbone Vanguard under her birth name, "Berah Ronah," who pose as space pirates to attack the Jupiter Energy Fleet. Seabook, known as "Kinkedo Nau," is one of the top pilots of the revamped Vanguard, alongside veteran Zabine Chareux. The narrative unravels through the eyes of Tobia Arronax, a teenage Newtype who inadvertently gets involved in the confrontation between the Jupiter Empire and the Crossbone Vanguard. While many Gundam aficionados were left underwhelmed by Gundam F91, Crossbone Gundam is lauded as one of Gundam's best due to its appealing characters, astute narration, and one-of-a-kind "pirate Gundam" designs. One cannot help but ponder how Gundam F91 would have fared had the original plan of a 52-episode TV series been fulfilled instead of compressing it into a two-hour movie.

An alternative version of the Lost World

A common individual finds themselves enamored with a planetary guardian superhero! Though vastly dissimilar in their situations, capabilities, and backgrounds, they gradually build a connection, provide mutual aid, and eventually embark on an unparalleled tale of interstellar love!

Commander Char Aznable, an ace pilot for Zeon, believed he could thwart the Federation's mobile suit construction by assaulting their research base located on colony Side 7. Unfortunately, he miscalculated. The Federation already had a functioning prototype, which they utilized to counterattack and wreak havoc. In the midst of the chaos, Amuro Ray, a skilled electronics expert, is steadfast in his resolve to prevent his loved ones from perishing due to the conflict. Nevertheless, how can a lone boy fend off invaders equipped with mobile suits?

A thousand years into the future, Earth has been destroyed by powerful aliens known as Gauna. Although mankind has fled into space, the giant spaceships they now call home are still constantly being targeted by the strange creatures. Piloting mobile weapon units called "Gardes," humanity is able to take a stand against their adversaries by destroying their cores, preventing the monsters from regenerating their protective shell of placenta. Within the vessel Sidonia, a boy named Nagate Tanikaze surfaces from its depths for the very first time in his life. With an incredible amount of time clocked into pilot simulators during his isolation deep within the ship, he quickly proves to be an indispensable asset to humanity's defense force. With the opportunity to pilot the legendary Garde Tsugumori, he fights to protect Sidonia from a grim demise.

AEUG Ensign Reccoa Londe tipped off Lieutenant Quattro (known as Char Aznable) and his team, including Lieutenant JGs Apolly and Roberto, about potential mobile suit development occurring in the Green Noa civilian colonies. The team heads to Green Noa to investigate. Meanwhile, Kamille Bidan rushes to the spaceport at Green Noa 1 in the hope of getting an autograph from famed Captain Bright Noa, who is on duty. Jerid and his companions interrupt and taunt Bright about his recent two rank demotion for refusing to join the Titans. Jerid grabs Kamille's photo and tries to force Bright to sign it as an elite member of the Federation. A brawl erupts, and Kamille is taken into custody for questioning by Matosh. After confirming Kamille's story, he is released from captivity just as the Gundam MK-II violently crashes into the building.

Saying bye-bye to Earth and blasting off to school in space was a dream come true for Nux. But no one told him how mediocre he would seem stacked up against the brightest minds in the universe. With lackluster grades that could never afford him a scholarship, he's forced into illegal part-time work just to pay the bills. The Universal Century began when humans migrated to outer space, and in the year UC0079, the Side 3 colonies declared independence as the Principality of Zeon, sparking a war with the Earth Federation. The conflict has been ongoing for almost a year, with intense fighting in the Thunderbolt sector—a region filled with remnants of destroyed warships and space colonies—as the Earth Federation seeks to reclaim Zeon-controlled territory.

Centuries in the future, in the year After Colony 195, Earth is surrounded by orbiting space colonies. The colonists are cruelly oppressed by the Earth Alliance, which uses huge humanoid fighting machines called "mobile suits" to control the populace. Behind this tyranny is the secret society called "Oz," which has infiltrated the Alliance military and steered it towards its repressive course. Now, the space colonies are ready to strike back.
