In a world where traditional warfare has been replaced by proxy battles fought by extremely powerful, and extremely LARGE, individual representatives chosen from each country, one rookie warrior faces her introduction to the international stage.

The plot revolves around an intranet-based online game (D.P. = Danger Planet) which is played using V.P. (Virtual Puppet). VP is literally an avatar which a person uses to in the game. However, unlike avatars (characters) from current online games, a VP is allowed to be modified (modded) by a person if he or she has sufficient programming skills.

Ja-gi Park, a high school teacher and diviner, wakes up from a vivid dream foreseeing a mass suicide set to happen in 10 days. It's up to her and a group of time manipulators to help prevent this tragic fate from happening before time runs out. However, as days pass by and mysteries unravel, Ja-gi realizes there's more to her premonition than meets the eye.

Shen Zhongyi, an ordinary high school student, accidentally discovered that the girl he liked was an alien and also a staff member of the Galaxy Customer Service Department. The department responds to various incidents caused by tourists (aliens living on the earth), and “solve” the problem with the people who now are involved (delete memories, tamper with memories, and even destroy their bodies). In order to avoid being wiped out and losing the memory of getting along with her, Shen Zhongyi started a job career in the customer service department of the Galaxy, which came with a lot of danger.

Hida Kizuna possesses the HHG (Heart Hybrid Gear) ability, but it is not strong enough to make him particularly important. His older sister calls him to transfer to a strategic defense school, where many of the students (many of which are large-breasted girls) use their HHG abilities to fight invaders from another world while wearing extremely skimpy pilot outfits. Kizuna's fighting ability doesn't measure up, but his sister has another plan-- apparently having erotic experiences with Kizuna will allow the girls to replenish their energy or power-up. It looks like his new school life is going to be full of embarrassment.

The key to solve the mystery is said to be in the Primary Point, the center of Burst. When a boy and a girl, who bears the future of humanity, meet, what will be the new truth?
