Cyborg 009 Conclusion: God's War is intended to be a proper conclusion to the original Cyborg 009 series. The manga is illustrated by Masato Hayase and based on Ishinomori's original concept notes, sketches, and a novel draft, all of which had been gathered by his son, Jo Onodera.

A scientist finds a brain in an alley and implants it into the body of his beloved, Nina. It turns out the brain belonged to a boy, Misumi Yutaka, and he is none too happy to find himself in a female body. What happened to Yutaka's body and why was his brain in the middle of an alley? Hitomi is a pokemon ranger; someone who uses wild pokemon to achieve their goals rather than capturing them. While pokemon rangers don't need balls to capture pokemon, they do use a tool called a slider in order to get closer to the wild pokemon. 2 years after her graduation from the ranger academy, she joins a team with a top ranger. This ranger uses a rare type of slider called a Batonnage slider, which is only available to top rangers. The Planet Group is formed of powerful families that represent each planet in our solar system and the central Sun Family. Ryu stows away on a space vessel, only to be found by the crew when it's far to late to return to earth. So they stick him in a spare sleep capsule instead.
