After hearing that an industrial factory is to possibly be built along a landmark river in his hometown of Ohitoyo, Migita Sotetsu returns home to change the minds of those in charge of the factory proposal. Although half of the town's citizens support the building of such a mill, the other half fear the potential for pollution and contamination of their beloved river. Recognizing Ohitoyo's budgetary decline over the last few decades, Sotetsu believes that the town requires a system that allows it to be fiscally independent instead of reliant upon a factory to stimulate its economy, and sets out to identify an alternative method in achieving this goal. It's during this time that Sotetsu comes across an android-like being--a "Raillord" named Hachiroku--while looking through his late adoptive father's belongings. Although inanimate, Hachiroku and Sotetsu forge a deep, unlikely connection, and from this bond, work together in hopes of restoring Ohitoyo to its former glory.

A short manga version of the UFO Robo Grendizer anime. Released along the anime series, UFO Robot Grendizer follows the adventures of Duke Fleed, the prince of Planet Fleed, who, disguised as Daisuke, a farm worker, fights against the forces that destroyed his planet, the Vegan Empire, also the creators of Grendizer that Duke stole to fight them. While not originaly considered part of the Mazinger series, Koji Kabuto and the Mazinger mechas appear in this series, making it sort of a sequel. Grendizer introduced the concept of a transformable robot and a space mecha, concepts that were later taken into other mecha series. It was extremely popular in Japan, Canada, France, Italy, and the Arab world and has a strong following in those countries even today.

Taken from OneManga: Twenty years prior to the story's beginning, an asteroid headed for Earth destroys Pluto. Due to Pluto's destruction, the asteroid, which is dubbed Thanatos, becomes temporarily stagnant in Pluto's orbit. Now, in order to avoid Earth's impending destruction, the International Solarsystem Development Agency (ISDA) works on the "D-Project", and secretly creates weapons called "Dragons" after finding a dragon egg under the ocean. However, they soon find out that the asteroid is not their only threat, as powerful, destructive dragons from Thanatos appear on Earth.

Hirasawa was the scientist in charge of a special lab specimen that was a fusion between dragon and human DNA, dubbed the "Archetype". But when he escapes the secret organization "Ilumine" which was employing him, taking the specimen and his daughter Koyomi with him as he goes into hiding, Ilumine vows to track him down and retrieve the Archetype. T.J. is a professional "trapper" for Ilumine, and his job is to track down and destroy the monsters know as "Dicapay" that are wreaking havoc all over the world. The organization orders him to visit Hirasawa's island hideout and bring the specimen -- now a partially-matured Archetype named Kiya whose outward appearance is that of an adolescent boy -- back to them.

Kuro-chan, a "watchcat" for an old couple, is, one day, kidnapped by Dr. Go, an evil scientist. Dr. Go transforms Kuro into a cyborg cat. However, the new Kuro-chan is not loyal, and escapes Dr. Go's laboratory as well as destroying it. He then uses his cyborg body, along with weapon technology, to fight various evil villains, such as other robot cats, and aliens.
