A spin-off sequel mini-series of the Naruto and part of the grand master plan of Masashi Kishimoto's "Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project" (Naruto's New Era Opening Project). The mini-series stars the next generation of young ninja, including Boruto Uzumaki, who is the son of Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village.
After facing off the last of the Otsutsuki clan members a forbidden seal activates on the last descendant’s body sending Naruto back into the past before his change began. Naruto is back in the academy with a few days remaining before the academy graduation exam. Naruto now has the opportunity to relive either as a loser who became the hero or awaken as a reborn genius that surpassed all his peers and changes the future.
The series, drawn in "SD" style, stars Sasuke Uchiha and shows the humorous side of him and Taka.
Naruto: Konoha Shinden: Yukemuri Ninpocho has three protagonists — Guy, Kakashi, and Mirai (the daughter of Asuma and Kurenai) — and takes place at a hot spring. The novel "ties together Naruto and Boruto," and is set between the final chapter of the original Naruto manga and the Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring spinoff manga.
