Kuronekomaru, a well-known criminal, had stolen a precious item from a samurai's estate and upon opening it, a dragon emerged cursing him and his kin. The curse stated that they must serve the Kougamis for a century, which Megumi, a descendant of Kuronekomaru, has been lucky enough to escape due to the last Kougamis vanishing. However, when Suzuka, the current heiress, resurfaces, Megumi finds himself unable to resist the curse and serves her obediently like a slave.
