The Academy's New Student Is the Hidden Disciple of a Legendary Sect

“Are you really that afraid of this school of magic?” A young man named Ark walks through the royal capital on the day of the Magic Academy's entrance examination. In a world where a person's strength is determined by their school of magic, Ark belongs to no school at all. Nevertheless, he remains optimistic and determined to pass the examination. However, he suddenly comes across a horrifying scene: an examinee has been burned to a crisp. The examination's objective is simple: defeat the other applicants. Although the battle has already been decided, the victorious examinee continues to attack his defeated opponent. As the severely burned victim screams in agony, the townspeople abandon him and flee. With everyone else having given up on saving him, Ark prepares his magic and steps into battle.
