Summary

Yuka begins working at Hanayuya, a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) in Ginzan Onsen, Yamagata Prefecture, the family home of her grandfather. What awaits her at this inn, which is full of Taisho-era romance, are palm-sized goblins! Keishiro, an employee and messenger of the gods, reveals a shocking truth to the surprised Yuka. According to him, this inn has been used by generations of owners to entertain yokai (supernatural beings). Furthermore, he tells her that she is a descendant of a "yokai handler" and asks her to become the young proprietress of the inn...!?
