Taking place eight years after the fall of Leitzweiss, this direct continuation of Full Ahead! Coco focuses on the continuing adventures of the Twin Sword Pirates. A crew made up of Coco, Chako, Rau, and more, they search for treasures abound upon the open seas. One such treasure would be the Pillar of Reality, which Coco vows to find so he can use it to discover the rumored whereabouts of an actual, living angel.

The story takes place in a country by the name of Popolocrois in which the people live peacefully. King Paul is a kind-hearted man who entered into a marriage with one of the daughters of the Ryuu clan, Sania, in order to overcome the barriers between the different races. The Queen soon gave birth to a child, Prince Pietro, who will play a significant role in bridging the gap between the humans and the Ryuu clan.

At a particular shopping district located in an old Tokyo neighborhood, humans and cats seem to live together in peace. But these cats aren't your ordinary felines! They are spirits, whose human forms allow them to go about their days undetected amongst the other locals. And the truth is, this neighborhood attracts some rather unique problems because of its residents. Chisato, a shop owner and the only human aware of the cat spirits' presence, and Kotora, a young cat spirit band together in attempt to solve the various predicaments they encounter.
