Five years ago, all but one of the inhabitants of Ootsuka village perished due to the plague...but the lone survivor wished only to follow her two dear friends to the grave. The manga follows the novel closer than the anime did.

Manga adaptation of the film by Tetsuya Egawa. Controversial due to its poor quality. Egawa received a permanent contract dissolution from Toei after the first chapter came out.
