After her father's passing, 17-year-old Karin Kusunoki is tasked with managing his construction company. Determined to retrieve her device, Karin chases after them and stumbles upon an udon shop named the Star Fox Shrine Udon Shop, run by Inari. Though Karin wishes to leave and return home, she finds that the torii gate, her only exit, has vanished. Inari informs her that she is their guest, but Karin realizes she must uncover the truth about herself and the world around her to leave the udon shop.
