Koutaka, a tall, handsome, and athletic boy who transferred to his school in his second year of high school, was a battery partner on the baseball team. When Chitose is assigned to be a battery partner with him on the baseball team, he learns of his unsociable nature and is attracted to him. The two gradually become aware of each other and begin dating. Chitose is happy to be dating his first boyfriend, but he and Takataka cross paths when they start talking about their career paths. Graduation comes and goes, and he no longer keeps in touch with Takataka. The message screen has remained static for two years. Chitose finally sends a new message to Takataka. This is a painfully realistic adolescent love story of a blunt guy and a flawed college student !

A fighting manga set in China. Ramenman, the main character, travels from place to place, fighting various enemies. Originally debuting in Yudetamago's other early work, Kinnikuman, Ramenman became so popular (more so than Kinnikuman himself), that he got his own spinoff. It was serialized from June of 1982 to December of 1988 in Fresh Jump (officially ending in the January 23, 1989 issue, due to the suspension of the magazine itself). It was made into an animated series in 1988. Since the Ramenman in this series seems to have no direct connection to Kinnikuman's Ramenman, it is assumed that this series is set in a parallel world. There is also the belief that this Ramenman is supposed to be the ancestor of Kinnikuman's Ramenman.

He was also known as Count Combat or Conde Koma in Spanish and Portuguese, a nickname he picked up in Spain in 1908. Along with Antônio Soshihiro Satake (another naturalized Brazilian), he pioneered judo in Brazil, the United Kingdom, and other countries. Maeda was fundamental to the development of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, including through his teaching of Carlos Gracie and others of the Gracie family. He was also a promoter of Japanese emigration to Brazil. Maeda won more than 2,000 professional fights in his career. His accomplishments led to him being called the "toughest man who ever lived" and being referred to as the father of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
