He accepted her invitation to join the \"Sanyu Group\" and established the company \"Sanyu Blasting Co. Later, he added an old acquaintance, Roku Iwashita a.k.a. \"Roku the Tugger\", a wooden construction specialist, Hideo Tokita a.k.a. Hide, a crane engineer who was about to commit suicide due to debt, and Hikaru Nakahara, a truck driver and former TV personality, to his team. However, in order to become \"Japan\'s No. 1 demolition company\" that is not bound by the traditions of bid-rigging that persist in the construction industry, he leaves the Sanyu Group and reestablishes himself as Itsumo Blowup Co.

This series is not about romance exactly but does contain the element for it. This series mainly focuses on overcoming the main characters' hardships. Each characters have a different hardship. There is really nothing more to mention about the plot. It starts with a school girl who has trouble with her surroundings. It all started when her classmate was bullied and eventually committed suicide. Being a part of the group that bullied the girl, she feels extremely guilty. Her life becomes meaningless and she wants to end it.

Sketchbook revolves around a group of high school students who are members of the art club at their school. The plot follows a slice of life style via the students' experiences at school through the club. The main character is a young shy, and quiet girl named Sora Kajiwara who goes through life at her own pace. Real features a cast of characters who find themselves being marginalized by society, but are all united by one common feature: a desire to play basketball, with no place to play it in. Nomiya, being a high school dropout, has no future in his life. Togawa, being a difficult personality, finds himself constantly feuding with his own teammates. Takahashi, once a popular team leader, now finds himself being unable to move from the chest down. Real also deals with the reality of physical disabilities, and the psychological inferiority that the characters struggle against. The characters break through their own psychological barriers bit by bit.

A new teacher is assigned to Momotsuki Academy. Her name is Rebecca Miyamoto, or Becky. She is short, but she is pretty smart. This is a school comedy performed by Becky and strange students...and animals!?
