Dragon of the Beginning and Dragon of the Last is a series of interconnected oneshots in a high fantasy setting which take place millennia apart and portray the evolution of dragon-human interaction through the point of view of different characters. Story 1: Three people cross paths, united by a flood and a dragon. A man who lost his village. An old man who lost his child. A young woman who lost her people. Story 2: The king is ill. In their quest to find a cure, a priest and his band of soldiers enter barbarian territory. But the herb they need belongs to the dragons. Story 3: Dragonswood is home to dragons and the people who care for them. When a mage and his dragon are captured, however, war looms ever closer. Story 4: After a ritual gone wrong, a dry spell hits a village once abundant in rain. The arrival of a rainmaker promises salvation, but first he must get to the bottom of a well-kept secret.
Yato Tsurumi, a teacher at a preparatory school, has the ability to see the "ghosts of places". The afterimage of his old life with his missing lover, Kako, now stands in place of their house, which was washed away by a flood. Tsurumi then finds himself in charge of a new student, Ima, who is burdened by her ability to hear the "sounds of the dead". Serialization of Ima/Kako Yuku Kohakuiro no Hate, which was the short-series title consisting of the first four chapters.
Anime description: Takemoto Takeru, an ordinary high school student, encounters a strange light during a bike delivery for his part time job. When he stops and searches the surroundings, he notices a cute girl named Hikari climbing out of a sparkling cocoon in the forest. Takeru instantly falls for her at first sight, but was interrupted when suddenly a monster appears at the same spot and attacks the girl. Later she finds out that they thought she was interviewing to become a talent, and the agent position she wanted has already been given away. However, they think she has that special quality that can make someone a star. She refuses at first, but finally gives in. Thus starts Haruka's career in the entertainment industry.

Last Order starts when Desty Nova's nanotechnology resurrects Alita in the floating city of Tiphares. The town 's black secrets are viciously exposed, but it seems to be a little portion of a world that is complicated. On the way, she forms an alliance with three of the Alita Replicas that have now started to believe for themselves, an unsavory superhacker, and Nova himself when she enters the Zenith of Things Tournament (Z.O.T.T.), a fighting contest held every 10 years. Including the way in which the Earth appeared from a cataclysmic impact winter that wiped-out the majority of the public throughout the length of the narrative, more history regarding the setting of Battle Angel Alita that had not been disclosed in the earlier string is shown.
