From DrCoke at MangaHelpers: The story begins in the near future, where a social mobile network called the "Kizuna-Topia" (Bonds-Topia) controls all communication and surveillance in the wall-bound city. In this city, two sisters, Enna and Yayako, come face to face with the ongoing man-hunt for young, healthy children. The kidnappers take these kids to the white tower to extract their brains and sell their bodies. This man-hunt, led by the local police known as the "Jikei," is counteracted by the mysterious being only known as "The Witch." Enna, Yayako, and other residents of this city are trapped between the ongoing conflict between the Jikei and The Witch.

The story takes place on a island with no people to live on it expect one man named Oomori. While he was trying to sleep one night, a little spaceship landed in the water by his island. It appeared to be an alien named Jako. Jako's spaceship is broken so he has to stay there until it is fixed. He says he as come to Earth to learn of it's ways. And Oomori doesn't like people but decided to help him.
A dramatic story set in contemporary Japan, about a guy with amnesia, who finds out he was turned into a super-cyborg in a corporate weapon research program. He goes on a mission of revenge. A little shallow, perhaps, but a good example of shounen SF/action manga. The manga ended abruptly, because the magazine it was being serialized in changed its target public and it was decided that Xenon didn't fit in anymore.
On August 10 of 2019, humanity received a signal, which was verified for its integrity by hundreds of scientists, from an alien life form containing one message: let us meet on Mars on July 7, 2035. Thus began the creation of a space agency representing Earth as a whole named ST&RS. From there, things progressed quickly with man re-landing on the moon in 2022 and constructing many space stations orbiting Earth and the moon. The Space Academy was created to train the upcoming generation of ST&RS. The same August 10th that Earth received the message, Shirafune Maho spoke his first words and it was “Mars.” Since then, Maho has been an astronomy freak who has nothing but the universe on his mind. He decides he is going to apply for the Space Academy along with his childhood friend, Hoshihara Meguru, and recent transfer and super smart classmate, Amachi Wataru. The trio begins their almost impossible journey of being accepted into the school where only 1% of the applicants are allowed into the academy.

Reesha's small size, due to his artificial heart, has prevented his acceptance into the military for three years running. Now, 19-year-old Reesha is living as an ordinary plumber in a town of hot springs. In order to help Reesha get around the size requirement, he and his military friends sneak into a bathhouse to appeal to the general directly. Unfortunately, this plan results in a series of unexpected, violent events which cause Reesha to finally depart his everyday life and head off to chase his destiny! [tethysdust]
Himoto Sora is a transfer student with a sense of justice and dreams of becoming a knight. Seeing one of these girls being abused she steps in and through some sort of error unwittingly becomes the first female participant of the game.

Girard and ViVi are special government agents known as "Right Arms" whose job is to seek and destroy people who have become "infected." In this world, a weird virus that turns people into monsters has run rampant and the only way humanity can survive is to keep tight control on those who are infected. If the virus' symptoms appear, the person must be disposed of. It's a tough world where women and children must sometimes be killed to prevent the spread of the virus.
Rocket Princess was written by Nobuyuki Anzai before he started his work on Flame of Recca. Basically, we follow Ishibashi Kango through his days as he interacts with a cyborg by the name of Oozora Kohime. If you liked Flame of Recca, then I'm pretty sure you'll find something to like in this one, too.
