Rocket Princess was written by Nobuyuki Anzai before he started his work on Flame of Recca. Basically, we follow Ishibashi Kango through his days as he interacts with a cyborg by the name of Oozora Kohime. If you liked Flame of Recca, then I'm pretty sure you'll find something to like in this one, too.

The year is 2008, and Mikuru is a 16-year-old high schooler who often disagrees with her mother Yuki. One day a girl appears in front of her—“Yuki;” a cute girl who’s thoughts, memories and body are from 24 years earlier. In short, Yuki has “time-slipped” from 1984 to the present, and when Yuki wakes up she is shocked to find that the year is not 1984, and that Mikuru is her daughter. Now both mother and daughter are the same age and living in the same house together, with an older man who’s supposed to be her husband. Until when she can return home, the girl who has crossed space-time decides to discover her future.

The story revolves around Masamichi Akita, a high school student whose motto is to “live wisely”, who meets Setsuna Rikudou, a high school girl with a violent supremacist attitude. Akita is saved by Rikudou when he is tangled up with a delinquent, and is attracted by her overwhelming strength, asks her to teach him how to fight. However, Akita is devastated by Rikudou, who asserts that “violence is the only rule in this world,” ....... Akita\'s encounter with Rikudou leads him into the world of “violence.”
