Daisuke is a 23 year-old new schoolteacher. He ends up being put in charge of a 3rd grade elementary school class since the previous teacher quit, and in that class there's a girl who's quite a troublemaker--Rin Kokonoe. You could call her a masegaki (used to describe a kid that acts more like an adult in some ways), and she's also part tsundere (though more dere than tsun).

Sana Kurata, a child actress, faces many problems in her classroom, including a major one - her bullying classmate, Akito Hayama. Sana's outgoing and friendly nature leads her to work towards correcting all of the problems around her. Her 'meddling' irritates Akito but at the same time captivates him, just as Akito's gloomy nature irritates Sana and compels her to change him. As these two opposites attract each other, they face many hardships which bring them closer to a mutual understanding. A story of growing up, letting go, falling in love, and falling out. It chronicles the relationship of Sana and Akito throughout elementary to high-school. This manga won the 1998 Kodansha Manga Award for shoujo. An extra epilogue book called 'Deep Clear' is available on MangaFox which is set a few years after the end of the Kodocha series. 'Deep Clear' is a cross-over with Obana Miho's other work, 'Honey Bitter'.

Koe de Oshigoto! is a story about Aoyagi Kanna, a 16 year-old girl who was asked to become an ero-ge seiyuu* on her 16th birthday by her 28 year-old sister at her ero-ge company. Can she do the job properly while she's still innocent and inexperienced? *Note: ero-ge seiyuu means erotic game voice actress.

The romance manga is about "love that starts with a voice." The story follows the relationship that is "a little different" between high school students Yuiko and Matsubara, a boy who is also "a little different." Matsubara is a kind boy with a wonderful voice. After hearing him over the phone, Yuiko finally meets Matsubara at school and discovers that he always wears a paper bag over his head. Yuiko wonders about the mysterious boy, and their relationship begins. (ANN)
