Animan

A father and daughter find themselves lost in a nightmarish gathering—a grotesque banquet where figures draped in animal forms feast. But here, humans are livestock. Human flesh is the main course. The ones who operate this “human farm” are not quite beasts, yet neither are they human. They are something else entirely. The unlucky pair is about to experience the most horrifying “hospitality” imaginable. Meanwhile, Nero, a wildcat laborer at a farm, encounters the village\'s enigmatic leader, a deer-man named Ernest. Their meeting stirs something deep within Nero—a buried memory long forgotten… A world of terror. An unrelenting spiral of shock and horror. And a chilling question for you, the reader—what does it truly mean to eat life?

The Genius Bakabon

Tensai Bakabon (Or, \"The Genius Bakabon\" ) is a gag manga starring ironically the titular character\'s father, only known as \"Bakabon\'s Papa\". The manga generally centers around episodic stories of Papa causing trouble around town due to his own and his son\'s complete and utter incompetence. This usually attracts the attention of the local trigger-happy policeman \"Honkan\", as well as causing issues for Bakabon\'s mother (Also just known as \"Bakabon\'s Mama\" ) and his younger, but extremely intelligent brother, Hajime. While the series is quite old, many of the jokes and stories are timeless in execution, and hold up well today, which is largely why it\'s considered a classic series in Japan. 3 Bilingual comics where released by Kodansha in the early 2000s. --- - **Won the Bungeishunjū Manga Award in 1971**

The Epic Of Gilgamesh

When a dying demigod, Gilgamesh of Uruk, returns to his city after hundreds of years of roaming the spirit world only to find his son taking his place, he removes him from the throne to sit in it for the last time and recall the memories and adventures he had with his best friend for life, the one who gave his life purpose - Enkidu. The Epic of Gilgamesh is the oldest known written story in the history of humanity. It was written approximately in the 2100s BCE compiled in 12 clay tablets inscribed with cuneiform, the oldest writing system. Following the adventures of a giant demigod king of the oldest city on earth, Uruk, King Gilgamesh follows his equally strong friend Enkidu from a life of power abuse into an adventurous search for immortality battling monsters and gods. Their quest is ultimately fulfilled as they are poetically immortalized by the countless writers, historians, interpreters and of course archaeologists that have worked hard to preserve the story and its meaning of love, friendship and mortality. This is my small attempt at approaching The Epic in contemporary manga/comic form that I originally started as a final project for art school but decided to expand upon it as I didn\'t feel I gave this beautiful thing justice. Enjoy and thanks if you\'ve read this far!

Legend of the Galactic Heroes (MICHIHARA Katsumi)

Manga adaptation of 1980s. Five hundred years ago, Rudolf von Goldenbaum united the disparate governments of humankind and established a mighty human empire, a tribute to his own greatness that stretched across the galaxy. Demanding loyalty and discipline, Rudolf created an order designed to long outlast his own rule; but all human works fade in time. Today, the decaying empire faces the threat of the Free Planets Alliance, and military leaders on both sides jockey for power in the face of a seemingly inevitable conflict. On the side of the empire, the young general Reinhard von Lohengramm sees war as opportunity, and the empire as soft clay ready for his own sculpting. On the side of the alliance, would-be historian Yang Wen-li would like nothing better than to live out his days in peace - but times of war have little use for men who waste their days studying the mistakes of the past. Circumstances will make heroes and villains of both these men, as they write new history one blood-splattered page at a time. ---

Fate/Grand Order - Daily Chaldea (Doujinshi)

Daily Chaldea is an unofficial daily slice-of-life fancomic created using art assets from the game Fate/Grand Order and building upon the existing lore of the franchise. The story follows the adventures of genderswapping protagonist Ritsuka Fujimaru and the many Servants they've summoned, with the tone ranging from comedic to philosophical. The comic is 'live' with the NA server of Fate/Grand Order, with new characters appearing in the comic around the time they appear in the game and comics often referencing recent events in the game. Enjoyment of this comic relies heavily upon the reader's familiarity with the game and its characters, so the author recommends playing Fate/Grand Order before reading this comic. This comic is being uploaded to MangaDex by reader request and with the approval of MangaDex staff. All art is copyright TYPE-Moon / FGO Project, Aniplex Inc., Delightworks, and other copyright holders as appropriate. This comic is not for profit (through ad revenue or otherwise). Chapters 0001-0041 use the original white backgrounds. Later comics have darker backgrounds and additional art assets for improved quality.
