Nagi Seishiro has seen countless rejections Mikage Reo. Reo is the popular, wealthy, and talented son of a rich family, while Nagi is a laid-back genius who mostly stays in the background. As they spend more time together, Nagi starts to realize that his feelings for Reo might be more than just friendship. He recalls how Reo is the first person to genuinely take an interest in him, which makes him feel special. However, Nagi is hesitant to confess his feelings, fearing rejection and the possibility of losing what they already have.
