Surprisingly enough, his will leaves the house to a stranger, Ayumi Kenjou. But when Youzuke meets Ayumi, it seems like he'd already met him that summer so very long ago.
In that village, those who die rise again, transforming into what the locals call \"Wandering Dead\" that are neither fully alive nor completely dead. These wandering dead then feast on the living... In the remote settlement of Sarugami Village, completely isolated from the outside world by three imposing walls and absent from all maps, an eerie phenomenon unfolds. The protagonist is Oto, a young police woman. Around the village of Blume, where she lives, werewolves have started to appear, blending in with the village people. One day, Oto follows some village children into the forest, and unluckily, she encounters a werewolf. Just as the werewolf attacks her, another werewolf suddenly appears and saves her life.
