Shin Gumiho (Shin meaning "new" and Gumiho meaning "old fox") begins with its origins based on Korean folklore. The 9-tailed demon fox, Gumiho, wishes to change into a human in order to keep her promise to the one she loved. However, right before she turns into a human, a vengeful demon-purger arrives and seals her into a sword. Now, in present day Korea, a young boy has found the sword and its contents. Gumiho is reawakened, but what will she do now? Be sure to find out in this wacky adventure.
Seikimatsu Tantei Kurabu is dedicated to the very gay and very passionate love of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. I suppose that it could even be called a doujinshi, since it's blatantly based on Conan Doyle's work, and many of his characters make appearances throughout the story. In fact, the main story is split into three sub-stories -- each one focusing on a different aspect of the Holmes/Watson relationship. The first story is titled Paris Fin de Siècle, and is a light-hearted introduction to our protagonists. There's a little fluff, a little humor, a sardonic reunion with Arsène Lupin, and a sexually charged scene of boot-licking. (Actual boot-licking. Not the metaphorical kind!) There are also fabulous kisses, cross-dressing criminals and unusual confessions. No smut so far, though. That comes later on. Oh, yes. The last two stories are based on actual Conan Doyle plots. The second story is based on and named after The Adventure of the Three Garridebs, and the third is similarly inspired by A Scandal in Bohemia. It's wonderful to see Conan Doyle re-interpreted through a yaoi mangaka's eyes! It's particularly rewarding to see Holmes undergo a paradigm shift after Watson is shot in The Three Garridebs; Holmes realizes that he can't take the good doctor for granted anymore, and that his old friend has become so much more than a friend to him.

Note: It has been suggested that MATSUMOTO Yoko traced some of her panels of this stroy from Birthday Present (MIYAWAKI Akiko). 2. Youkoso Mystery Tour e (ようこそミステリーツアーへ) In the summer holiday, a 15 year old girl Kana went on a vacation on an island, when a certain hotel giving out invitation to join a treasure hunt event with only a ridiculously impossible map to read. With a group of four along with her cousin Riku who can't handle transportation, her little brother Takashi who likes mystery and her brother's girlfriend Natsuki, the group join the event, meeting suspicious people and witnessing unexplainable occurences. Can they find the treasure? Is there any hidden agenda from the hotel owner by making such an event? 3. A wa Akuma no A (アは悪魔のア) An almost dead man entrusted a Devil statue to Riku, a 15 year old boy. Before they realized, Kana, Riku, Takashi and Natsuki were already involved in an adventure involving antiques, cops, a devil in disguise, an angel in custody, and a cold blooded killer.
Some time before the June of summer. One day, she suddenly died... "I" and the corpse of the girl who should have died, "Makoto", spent those false summer days in that apartment. The relationship between these two sad, distorted people slowly becomes clearer...
