Takeru Tachibana, a teenager, embarks on a mission to rescue his sister, Sayoko, from the cruel arena of cyborg dogfighting. A bombing in their town kills their parents and injures Takeru at the age of 10. Sayoko's decision to sell her brain to the Albion Corporation for Takeru's medical expenses turns into a disastrous transformation into a cyborg. She becomes a champion in the dogfighting world but Takeru halts her reign. However, Sayoko's life hangs by a thread as her cyborg brain is configured to destroy itself unless she returns to the ring or is cured within a week. The story's other characters also carry burdensome histories, and the Albion Corporation is relentless in reclaiming its stolen possession.

Hikaru, Fuu, and Umi find themselves transported to Cephiro once more, but they are puzzled as to how it happened without a Pillar in place. Upon reuniting with old acquaintances, they discover that the realm is in disrepair as it lacks a stable Pillar. Meanwhile, they encounter foreign gates that have opened and their leaders covet the Pillar for their own self-serving desires. With Cephiro on the brink of extinction, the trio sets off to rescue it from its impending doom.

The events of the anime series Macross Δ prequel take place 9 years prior to the main anime.

She forewarns them about a resurgent Jupiter Empire invasion. The F-99 "Recordbreaker" is a noteworthy mobile suit, resembling Crossbone Gundams and being the first to utilize the "Wings of Light," which later became synonymous with the V2 Gundam.

Universal Century 0096. Several months have passed since the incident surrounding Laplace's box also known as the Universal Century Charter. The Earth Federation Forces dispatches a group of investigators to the severed Axis which is drifting outside the Earth Sphere. Two civilians participate as members of the research group: Arlette Almage and Danton Hyleg. Both have pasts with government service to the Principality of Zeon and Neo Zeon as an engineer and test pilot. Having infiltrated Axis, the investigators come under attack inside a base where no one should be. Arlette and Dalton are confronted with an incident they never imagined.

Taiga Amachi, a diehard SD Gundam fan, joins the Gundam Research Group (also commonly known as "G-Group"). He does battle in a Gunpla battle simulator against the many enemies aiming to take down G-Group.
