The story centers around a main character with a meddlesome personality whose father is a butler and whose mother is a maid, and who one day meets a rich young lady who cannot even change her own clothes, let alone know what do in the outside world.
This story takes place in a world where humans and beastmen coexist. Our protagonist, a Dog beastman, was a former gangster who's fallen on hard times, living on the streets and scraping by on what he can get. On one particular rainy day, he tries to fall asleep in an alley before being found by an eccentric 'Yamato Nadeshiko' type of girl. She offers him a home to sleep in, in exchange for him becoming her bodyguard. He doesn't think much of it until he sees her home and it's explained to him by the servants in it that she's the daughter of a Yakuza boss and has a sadistic personality. On top of all that, almost all her servants are beastmen as well!
In the year 2020, it was found out that a harmful virus had infected the human race, killing them slowly and bringing them towards a dark future. But with the technology they had in hand, in an attempt to save the civilized race, the people chose to go through with "Beast Transformation." Knowing that other than humans, all animals were safe from the virus, the humans made the decision to inject the genes of animals into themselves to become part-human, part-animal. As the show progresses, the group as well as Yuto fall upon some strong ayakashi, with a few of them being allies, and Yuto ultimately makes a life-altering choice to fight because of his opinion of co-existence between ayakashi and individual.
