The girl, who has the appearance and behavior of the owl, struggles to adapt to her new human form while the protagonist tries to understand the strange circumstances behind her transformation. As they navigate the challenges of this unexpected change, they form a unique bond, uncovering magical secrets and slowly developing feelings for each other. But with the transformation still unresolved, they must find out what it means and whether the owl-girl can return to her true form—or if she even wants to.

This series is a precursor to Hiroshi Masumura’s Atagoal. It was serialized in Monthly Magazine Garo (月刊漫画ガロ) from May to December 1975. The story depicts the people of Yonezaad, rising up against the re-invasion of King Carmel, who once ruled the Yonezaad continent. Many characters in Atagoal would make their first appearances in this series (Ex. Hideyoshi, Tempura, Gilbars, and Pantsu) although their roles are significantly different in this series than those from future Atagoal publications.
