Taking place in 1930s Japan and China, Kasumi Kenshiro (the uncle of the lead from Hokuto no Ken) is forced to leave his teaching job and settle an old gang rivalry with the help of his martial arts. Along the way, he meets the son of one his triad buddies, an old flame, and a mysterious old man who teaches him new techniques which will assist him in his quest.

Legends tell of a race of divine beings known as Seraphim, whose unseen influence is felt throughout the world. Those with the ability to commune with the Seraphim became known as “Shepherds”, the most pure-hearted of which could even be granted a Seraphim’s power. One day, he is trapped by a cave-in alongside his friend and a young knight named Alisha, who is investigating a series of natural disasters that have been plaguing the world. When Sorey discovers that the Seraphim may be involved, he resolves to leave his home alongside Alisha and find the truth.
J'on, a little Chinnkel free from being a slave from the higher races, has been given a mission to tell the people of Daar that if the world does not find peace, the world will be doomed. In order to end the war/unite the peace among the higher races, J'on sets out on a journey to find that answer and to see whether or not he is the chosen one that will free his people from them..
